The router determines the destination of the message along with invoking the Rules and Virus Scanning features if enabled. exchange queue The Exchange Queue contains messages that have been pulled down from the Internet and are now waiting to be sent to Exchange Server. internet queue The Internet Queue contains messages that have been received from Exchange Server and are now waiting to be sent to the Internet. queue view When you double-click a queue you will be presented with a view of the queue's contents along with a toolbar for managing its messages, as shown above. status The status column displays the status of the message: Retry Indicates that the message cannot be sent and will be retried at a later time. Hold Indicates that you requested the message not be processed until a specified time or indefinitely until released. Processing Indicates that the message is being processed. Ready Indicates the message is waiting to be processed. toolbar Open/Forward Displays a dialog containing message details and allows you to forward the message to a list of recipients. more... Hold Displays a dialog for holding the selected messages. more.... Release Releases messages that are on hold or waiting to be retried by putting them in a Ready state. Delete Deletes the selected messages from the queue. right mouse button Click the right mouse button and the following menu will be displayed: Open/Forward see above Hold see above Release see above Delete see above Select All Selects all messages in the folder. Search Message ID Switches to Event Log and performs a search for events that match the selected message's ID.
